The session, guided by Michelle, Nick, Phil and Peter looked at the issues of climate change and peak oil with an emphasis on community initiatives to combat one, and prepare for the other. The groups worked around a number of tables with three main questions... What are the most important sustainability issues or activities in our area? Voting on the three top issues of interest (wind turbine, community gardens and local transport)o What helps or hinders us? What's next?
